Tesco is set to launch rainbow packs of cauliflower to encourage children to eat their vegetables.
Tesco has worked with a major brassica farm in England to breed the brightly coloured cauliflower.
The techni-colour cauliflower has been naturally produced and crossed with other types of the brassica family including green cabbage and broccoli to create interesting variations.
The supermarket giant is hoping its coloured varieties will have an impact on consumer buying trends.

According to retail analysts demand for cauliflower has sharply declined by 6.5 percent across all retailers in the last two years.
Tesco believes its orange, pink and emerald green cauliflower will boost failing sales of the flailing vegetable.
It is not the first time the supermarket has experimented with colourful and interesting vegetables to promote healthy eating.
The supermarket recently added pink and yellow mushrooms to its fresh produce aisles.
It has also made headlines by stocking the world’s most expensive potato, La Bonnotte, which is worth £400 a bag.
