High end department store Harrods in London is to sell an ice cream sundae named after singer Justin Bieber.

The creation of the sundae was inspired by the launch of Bieber’s new perfume, Someday, at the store

The hot-weather treat, which retails at £19.95, will be sold on the store’s new Ice Cream Parlour which opened on the second floor earlier this month.

All profits made on sales of the ‘Bieber Bocker Glory’ – so named as a pun on the popular Knickerbocker Glory sundae – will go to the Make-A-Wish-Foundation, Bieber’s favourite UK charity.

Fans can expect a blend of wild berry and vanilla ice cream with fresh pear, lavender sprinkles and edible glitter.

Naming food goods after celebrities has been tried and tested elsewhere. Food brands such as Walkers crisps and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream have both borrowed famous names to increase sales of their products.
