Boots launched an anti-ageing serum this week, which is taking the beauty industry by storm.

The developers of Bioeffect EGF Serum were awarded the prestigious Nobel Prize for physiology and medicine after proving the beauty cream speeds up the rejuvenation of skin cells.

A key ingredient of the cream is Epidermal Growth Factor, which contains cellular activators. These proteins are vital for cell maintenance.

Bioeffect EGF Serum has achieved phenomenal success in Iceland, where it was initially released. The product has reportedly been so popular that one in five of all women there use it.

The developers are hoping to capitalise on the product’s success as it hits the UK market.

The high-end anti-ageing cream is being sold exclusively by high-street retailer Boots for £125.
