Alexander Wang creates T-shirt for Starbucks

Designs by three prominent American designers will go on sale in celebration of the brand's 40 year anniversary

International coffee chain Starbucks has teamed up with the Council of Fashion Designers America for T-shirts celebrating 40 years of the beverage company.

Three American designers have created garments illustrating their interpretations of the brand.

A design by Alexander Wang features a coffee stain trickling into the shape of the Starbucks logo.

 

Starbucks T-shirt: Alexander WangSophie Theallet’s design pays tribute to the brand’s global presence with an image of a world map, while Billy Reid opts for a simple stencil imprint of the chain’s logo.

The T-shirts will retail at $85 (€61)and will be available through department store Nordstrom.com as well as at Starbucksstore.com.
