A discount retailer has released a bra costing just 99p for cash-strapped consumers looking to bag a bargain.
 
The padded bra features a decorative bow and comes in a choice of colours – black, white and natural.
 
The value bra, which hits 99p Stores today, comes in sizes 32 to 36C.  
 
According to the chain, the lingerie which costs less than a cup of coffee is the first of its kind to be sold for under a pound.
 
 “Everyone is looking to save money wherever they can and this bra has hit the market at the right time,” 99p Stores Commercial Director, Hussein Lalani, told reporters.

“Who knows? We might see the first 99p lingerie set soon,” he added.
 
99P Stores already has 149 outlets in the UK and is planning to open another 150 over the next five years.
