AmaWaterways presents a unique opportunity to experience Jewish heritage, history and culture in Europe. Three exclusive “Jewish Heritage Cruises” will highlight centuries-old traditions, as well as modern day museums and monuments dedicated to conserving the rich Jewish legacy of the region. Complimentary Jewish Heritage tours will include synagogue visits, Jewish districts tours and sightseeing of landmarks of significance to Jewish history. Join us for this poignant program which includes entrance to the second largest synagogue in the world, the Dohany Street Synagogue in Budapest, along with the Jewish Museum. In Bratislava, the tour includes entrance to the Jewish Museum, as well as a special visit to the tomb of the Rabbi Chatam Sofer. The house of Oscar Schindler is a highlight of the tour in Regensburg, and in Prague, the tour visits the New Jewish Cemetery, final resting place of the novelist Franz Kafka. Passengers will also have the opportunity to visit Court Room 600 at the Nuremberg Palace of Justice.
