With her fiery red hair, striking features and unique sense of style, Florence Welch certainly stands out from the crowd.
The popular singer has become a hit in the fashion world in recent years.
Designers are not only lining up to dress her but citing her as their inspiration for a number of creative projects.
Now Gucci, which is celebrating its 90th birthday this year, has announced Welch as the new face of its high-end brand.
In 2010, Welch was a special guest at a Mulberry catwalk presentation where every single one of the models sported her signature red hair and heavy fringe.

It seems that Gucci has also kept a close eye on the 24-year old singer for a while, having recognised her potential.
The luxury label used the Florence and the Machine star as the inspiration for its autumn/winter 2011 collection.
“As I was imagining this collection I was thinking of a strong and somewhat mysterious muse. Florence is that kind of woman,” said the label’s Creative Director, Frida Giannini in an interview with Dazed Digital.
Giannini has a good track record in spotting emerging talent having previously picked Mark Ronson, Rihanna and James France to appear in campaigns.
The talented designer has handpicked Welch, believing her to be a perfect fit for the high-end brand.
“I met her in Los Angeles at this year's Grammys and was captivated by her presence. She has a powerful personality and an entrancing quality to her performances,” said Giannini.
“She also has that confident and self assured look that goes hand in hand with the Gucci woman,” she added.
