Really Big Colouring Books has released a controversial colouring book for children that depicts the attacks of September 11 2001.
We Shall Never Forget 9/11: The Kid’s Book of Freedom has outraged Muslim groups in the US who believe the colouring book links all Muslims with terrorism.
Dawud Walid, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, has expressed his concerns over the book.
He believes that it will give children the idea that all Muslims are “somewhat responsible” for 911.
It has been reported that the phrase “radical Islamic Muslim extremists” is used 10 times in the book.

The publisher of We Shall Never Forget 9/11 has hit back at claims that the book carries an Anti-Muslim message, arguing that everything in the book is “entirely factual” and is an attempt to “educate” the younger generation about the historical event.
The colouring book has also come under fire for its graphic content, which has prompted the question if it is suitable for young children or not.
The book has proved to be a best-seller despite its controversial content.
One of the drawings reportedly shows a Navy SEAL shooting at Osama bin Laden, who is hiding behind a veiled woman.
The caption on this page reads: “Children, the truth is, these terrorist acts were done by freedom-hating radical Islamic Muslim extremists. These crazy people hate the American way of life because we are FREE and our society is FREE.”
We Shall Never Forget 9/11 has already sold out of its first print run of 10,000 copies and its publishing company is having to print copies every day to keep up with demand.
